Our Why
Here at United Military Care, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part helping Veterans of all ages have the basic needs in life. Focusing on three vessels, Food, Safe Shelter/Housing, and Socialization, we can prevent and solve many problems faced by our Veterans.
We work alongside our patriotic partners to provide goods, services, referrals, and education to not only help our Veterans in need but also to dispel some of the myths that prevent communities from helping Veterans.
Did you know that not everyone who served in the military is eligible for VA benefits, and 1 in 6 Seniors in our community go without nutritious food, necessary medication, and social visits?
Since 2012, United Military Care's Battle Buddy program has assisted thousands of Veterans and their families with food, clothing, shoes, social outreach, and help to get off the streets.
Our vision is to end homelessness and hunger among Georgia Veterans of all ages and to enable Georgian's everywhere to show their appreciation to all who have served America.
