Operation respect & remember

Heroes of WWII

For 75 days, United Military Care will respect and remember the many WWII Veterans and their families by placing ornaments in our Veterans Honor Tree in front of our office.  This tree was planted by Veterans and Active Duty Military when we moved into our office in 2008.  The tree has survived a tornado and a drunk driver who drove into it giving it a "tilt".  We hope you will remember all of the men and women and their families who fought in WWII and the families who supported America from home.

World War II, also called the Second World War, was a conflict that involved virtually every part of the world during the years 1939–45. The principal belligerents were the Axis powers - Germany, Italy, and Japan—and the Allies - France, Great Britain, the United States, the Soviet Union, and, to a lesser extent, China. The war was in many respects a continuation, after an uneasy 20-year hiatus, of the disputes, left unsettled by World War I. The 40,000,000–50,000,000 deaths incurred in World War II make it the bloodiest conflict, as well as the largest war, in history. -Britannica
